The Wings Of Ever

I looked at them and saw disbelief in their eyes. They just couldn’t believe what I was saying. Not contradicting me but not showing any sign of understanding they said that they knew what I meant. Their face expression was arrogant and they thought they were superior. I couldn’t help noticing that they were holding back from laughing. I shouted at them out loud that they couldn’t understand because they were too little, too human, too lost in their selfish, empty worlds.
They were telling that I need help. I disagreed. I knew for sure that if they couldn’t see past appearances they won’t be able to help me. Let’s face it they couldn’t help themselves. They didn’t want to help the other, not when they were showing that smirk on their faces.
I told them that I would prove them that they are wrong and I will do so by showing them my wings. Rising their eyebrows they asked me to do so. I closed my eyes and concentrated on nothing else but my purpose in this life. I knew that they will see my aura and my white wings will wake up the faith in them. I was wrong; they were too blind to see. They just wanted me to turn into one of them, into a mediocre individual who will just have to cut his wings of because society does not believe in miracles.
