This had started so perfectly but now we all knew that there is no way it was going to end in the same way. We had barely made it on to the island alive and were just hoping we can ruffle up a meal to keep the stomachs from rumbling. Our skins already had sores from the salty water that pinched us all the way to the shore as we paddled the rafts. Nature can be beautiful but trust me it felt like it was slapping us in the face when the wind threw sand and salt at you.
The five of us had to figure out how to get off this island and we had to do it soon. These phones always bragged that they were connected to satellites and all but that was all hype. I had made sure to keep mine dry and its full battery was just mocking me by allowing it to beep no signal. As we made a beeline towards wherever it was we would find ourselves, I couldn’t help but wish that this was some reality show. That would put me more at ease. Just as I was about to scream bloody murder at the world, we all walked face first into a glass barrier. This was worse than a reality show. Honey, we had been shrunk!
